2.0.7 is a small, focused release. Most of the work went into making the Help section easier to find and read — the actual content, the way it's surfaced on the home page, and the sidebar filters that help you move around it.
Help is easier to see
- Help button in the hero. The homepage hero now has a dedicated Help button that lands on the Welcome index. The old Docs button has been renamed API Docs and points straight at the Swagger UI at
api.omnicon.cloud, so the two destinations are no longer confused. - Welcome page is a real index. The Help landing article now links out to every overview and sub-topic we've published — Articles, Pages, Books, Press, Media, Channels, Custom domains, AI Studio, API, and MCP — so you can jump to the section you need without scrolling through the full list.
- Landing subtitle points at Welcome. First-time visitors to
/helpsee a one-line nudge toward the Welcome index instead of a dead-end description. - Full cluster of Help content. This release lands guides for all nine feature areas above — from permalinks and publish windows to DNS setup, press distribution, AI quota, and MCP workflows.
- New API guide. Authentication, endpoint map, and copy-paste
curlrecipes are now documented in their own cluster.
Listing polish
- Filter by Directories in the sidebar now lines up as wrapped chips (same as Tags) instead of a one-per-line stack, and folders are sorted alphabetically.
- Root-level articles with no folder no longer clutter the directory facet.
- Article cards dropped the publish date — it wasn't adding much to the scan.
Behind the scenes
We also fixed a startup dependency cycle that surfaced when the search index moved inline with the article save path, and cleaned up a handful of build-artifact files that had slipped into the repo. Nothing you'll notice, but the next release will sit on a healthier baseline.
If you're new here, start at the Welcome page. If you've been using OmniCon for a while, the API and MCP sections are the freshest.
