Channels — Overview

April 15, 2026

Channels are the top-level container for content in OmniCon — articles, pages, books, media, and press all belong to a channel.

A channel is the top-level container in OmniCon. Everything — articles, pages, books, media, press contacts, authors — belongs to exactly one channel. You can think of it as a site or publication.

Channels live inside an organization, which holds billing and team membership. One org can have many channels (for example: one for Marketing, one for Docs, one for News).

Each channel has its own:

  • URL permalink (/en/c/<channel-permaname>) and optional custom domain.
  • Default culture / language.
  • Navigation menu shown on the public site.
  • Authors, media library, search index, and content lists.
